God is at work in the world. The church is God’s missional agent and every follower of Jesus has a part to play in bringing the message of the Gospel to a lost and broken world. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the German theologian, said it well:
The Church is only the church when it exists for others.
We believe in serving others and use various outreaches to reach people with the hope of Jesus. Here are a few ways we engage the world
Local Outreach
Local outreaches consist of service projects that range from partnering with Children’s Hunger Fund, the Community Pregnancy Clinic, and the Samaritan Center, to other more organic local outreach initiatives. Some local outreaches are more suitable for adults, while others are perfect for children and adults together.
National Outreach
On the national level, our church partners with the Assemblies of God US Missions and with Convoy of Hope; an organization that specializes in disaster relief efforts.
Global Outreach
When it comes to global outreaches, we mobilize short-term missions teams and raise up fulltime missionaries. We work alongside organizations like the Assemblies of God World Missions and Youth with a Mission. As a local church, we are committed to supporting missionaries on a financial basis each month.
